METC's Pre-High School Entrance & Assessment Motivational-Prep is for all:
• High School Placement Tests
• Private School Entrance Exams
• Assessment Tests
Students need to score well on Pre-High School Standardized Tests because that performance level often determines their high school tracking, as well as the number of remedial and basic skills courses required before students are permitted to take core courses essential for high school success and college prerequisites. These scores also influence the level of challenges and the style of teaching offered to students, socialization and association with peer groups, and, of course, acceptance or rejection by private schools for those who choose to apply.
METC'S professionally trained instructors review 5th, 6th, & 7th grade skills to prepare 8th grade students to accurately reflect their full academic potential on any standardized placement test, or on any secondary private school entrance exam. All of these tests evaluate a student's cognitive thinking skills, as well as his or her acquired skills and aptitude in many content areas, especially English and Math.
